Our look back at the 12 months from September 2015 to August 2016 shows how Paddington is leading the way on waste and recycling.
A fabulous 143 businesses are recycling through the BID, with 1,588,268 kgs of waste successfully recycled between September 2015 and August 2016.
PaddingtonNow BID was the first in the UK to introduce a recycling service, and we are proud to have one of the most comprehensive recycling services available.
Businesses across Paddington save money by using the service, which recycles paper, card, glass, cans, plastics, toner, food, coffee grounds, waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and batteries.
By introducing the BID funded service we have reduced the number of different contractor vehicles visiting Paddington from 50 per week to just 6 per week.
