We are pleased to bring you our July Security Snapshot. Each month, we will provide an overview of the key accomplishments of our Community Safety Team, along with any additional operational updates.
June – Executive Summary
Across June 2026 the PaddingtonNow Street Safety Officer team delivered consistent visible coverage across the BID footprint, logging 2,611 field reports and public interactions (up 46% on May and 9% above the previous best in April).
The month’s defining thread was care for vulnerable people: three medical emergency responses, two StreetLink referrals and a concern-for-welfare escalation raised by a member of the community who chose to bring it to our officers — a mark of the trust the uniformed presence has built.

Nicole

“This month we received an urgent call from a hotel regarding an individual possessing a substantial amount of Class A Drugs. We were quick to arrive to the scene to detain the individual who was subsequently arrested by the police for intent to supply.

“In July it’s been a great month to introduce myself to more of the local businesses. I’ve really enjoyed being able to establish my on-the-ground presence in the Paddington area.”
