London Climate Action Week (LCAW) is the largest city-wide climate event in Europe, bringing together businesses, communities, policymakers and innovators to accelerate climate action across the capital.
Taking place on 20-28 June this year, LCAW showcases practical solutions, shares learning, and highlights how organisations of all sizes can play a role in delivering a cleaner, greener and more resilient London.
Why London Climate Action Week matters to our businesses
Climate change is not just an environmental issue, it’s also a business resilience one. Rising energy costs, extreme weather and changing regulations are already affecting how organisations operate. London Climate Action Week offers an opportunity to:
- Learn from real-world examples of successful climate action
- Explore ways to cut costs through energy efficiency and waste reduction
- Understand emerging policies and funding opportunities
- Connect with partners, suppliers and innovators driving change
- Demonstrate leadership to customers, employees and investors
From workshops and panel discussions to site visits and networking sessions, themes include clean energy, sustainable transport, green finance, climate adaptation and the role of local areas in delivering net zero.
How your business can get involved
You don’t need to be a climate expert to take part. During London Climate Action Week, businesses can:
- Attend an event or webinar that fits your interests or sector
- Review your energy use, waste or travel practices and identify quick wins
- Share what you’re already doing to reduce your environmental impact
- Talk to staff and suppliers about ideas for working more sustainably
