The Community Safety Team was established in 2018 to address concerns from members about the increasing levels of anti-social behaviour in the area.
The team consists of four security professionals who are dedicated to patrolling the BID area 5 days a week, from Tuesday to Saturday, from 9am to 11pm.
The BID also regularly funds a dog patrol one weekend night per week from 8pm to 4am
The team proactively addresses anti-social behaviour, security, cleanliness, and maintenance. They work with local Metropolitan Police officers, Westminster Council and outreach services to share intelligence, compile evidence, report and monitor ongoing issues.
The team supports rough sleepers in the area by working closely with outreach teams to signpost people to sources of assistance.
