Tanner Lane is Paddington’s newest road. The road links Praed Street to Winsland Street and is named after Sir Henry Tanner, the architect that designed the former Royal Mail sorting office that previously occupied the site.
The road was built in conjunction with the Paddington Square Development, which is currently under construction next to the station.
Paddington Square will incorporate prime office space, world-class retail and dining space, a rooftop restaurant and a new 1.35 acre public square. The development will also deliver a much needed £65m investment into London’s transport infrastructure that will provide a new Bakerloo Line ticket hall in Paddington Station.
