On Monday 26th June, businesses and community members joined forces in a collective effort to clean up our much-loved neighbourhood.
On the day, participants worked to collect rubbish from the streets, resulting in a total of 14 bin liners filled with various items. The litter included discarded bottles, cigarettes, food containers, dumped clothing, and much more.
We would like to thank Richard Bantock and his team at the Hilton London Paddington as well as Abdul Mukul and his team from McDonalds on Praed Street. Thank you also to Veolia and Westminster Council for their participation in the event.
Looking ahead, there is a strong desire to continue the tradition of Take Pride in Paddington Day in coming years. The hope is to build on this year’s success and attract even more businesses and residents to participate.
