Businesses have reaffirmed their commitment to Paddington BID by voting ‘Yes’ for another 5 year term from April 2023 to 31 March 2028.
Official ballot results confirmed a 90% majority vote by number and a 94% majority by rateable value with a turnout of 51%.
Paul Charalambus, Vice Chairman of the BID, Anastasios Moros, Chair of Environment & Planning Group and Chris Peers, BID Manager were onsite at Westminster City Hall on Friday 11 November for the results declaration.
Chris Peers, BID Manager said:
‘We are delighted with the results of the ballot and would like to thank all our levy payers for their support and for voting yes to continue the BID. The success of the BID ballot is recognition of the vital role the BID plays in Paddington and we remain committed to ensuring that Paddington continues to grow, economically, sustainably and as a key destination in the capital.’
The BID has pledged to deliver campaigns, initiatives, partnerships and events to attract more business, investment and people to Paddington.
