Westminster City Council have appointed leading cultural studio LACUNA – Leading Cultural Studio to support the Council in delivering a series of public art commissions across Praed Street over the next two years.

The aim of the programme is to:

  • Create a welcoming and safe street environment
  • Diversify the high street’s uses and improve its retail offer
  • Create opportunities for social interactions and cultural activity

They are now calling for artist submissions for Outdoor Permanent Public Art – 2D Artwork. Deadline for Expression of Interest is open until 5:00pm on Friday 24 April 2026. Click here to find out more.

Shopfront Improvement Scheme

Westminster City Council has offered business owners the opportunity to take part in a predominantly Council funded heritage shopfront improvement scheme.

The scheme is part of the wider North Paddington High Street investment programme to improve the experience of high streets, stimulate economic growth and attract visitors and businesses to the area. One of our businesses Sandro’s is currently taking part in the scheme. Click here to find out more.
