PaddingtonNow – Security Snapshot – September 2025

We are pleased to bring to you our September Security Snapshot. Each month, we will provide an overview of the key accomplishments of our Community Safety Team, along with any additional operational updates.

Key Achievements

Joe:

“This month, I gathered information about a male individual who was causing disturbances at local hotels. The details collected will assist the police in updating his profile and help authorities prevent any future incidents.”

Nicole:

“I aided a vulnerable member of the public undergoing a mental episode in the street. I contacted the emergency services who came to assist the individual which prevented any further danger to the public.”

James:

“I removed an individual from a local hotel. One of the aspects I enjoy most about my role is helping maintain a clean and safe environment.”

Mike:

“Ahead of Pub Watch next month, I’ve enjoyed popping into Paddington pubs to gain up-to-date contact details of staff and to invite them to the meeting. Pub Watch is a fantastic way for our businesses to learn about the latest crime trends in the area as well as learn best guidance on how to keep their customers safe.”

October Pub Watch

Our Operations Manager Russell Hawkins will be holding an October Pub Watch meeting on Thursday 2 October 2025. The meeting will provide licensed premises with the opportunity to learn about latest crime trends as well as guidance on how to keep staff and customers safe.

Meeting with Hyde Park Police Sergeant

Our Operations Manager Russell Hawkins will be meeting with the Sergeant for the Hyde Park Area this October. The meeting will be key for building relations and discussing how we can best work together with the Police.

Hyde Park Ward Panel

We will be hosting Hyde Park Ward Panel on Wednesday 29 October 2025. During this meeting the police will deliver crime stats for the area. Residents can also attend to learn about local crime trends.
