The PaddingtonNow Community Safety Team is made up of four trained security professionals who patrol the BID area five days a week, from Tuesday to Saturday, between 9am and 11pm.
This year’s key operational highlights include:
- Becoming a signatory to the Mayor of London’s Women’s Night Safety Charter (WNSC).
- Hosting several Crime Prevention Pop-ups for local office occupiers, including a joint event with the Met Police at Paddington Station.
- Carrying out our first-ever covert operation in Market Halls. In response to rising phone thefts, the initiative helped train our team on identifying and deterring this type of crime.
- Successfully removing a long-term encampment from Norfolk Square Gardens.
- Being shortlisted as a Finalist in the Security & Safety Drive category at the National BID Awards 2026.
