Wind-up to bank holiday weekend the right way at , a fabulous outdoor festival set to round off this summer’s music calendar with the top pick of UK cover bands.
As the gateway connecting festival-goers to the UK’s top events, Glastonbury, Reading and Somersault, Paddington will host the last, and notably biggest, of its much-acclaimed mini-summer series as a fun and free alternative to the ‘real deal’.
Held in the hidden gem of Norfolk Square Gardens, just behind Paddington Station, the festival will be open for workers, residents and visitors alike all afternoon on the last Friday of August as a precursor to SW4 festival and Nottinghill Carnival.
Fans missing their favourite Reading Festival acts will see the likes of Smith & Sons [Mumford & Sons], Metallicar and DJ Duo Frieght Train performing live covers from world famous bands, as well as indulging themselves at a variety of delicious food stalls on offer around the square. Ping pong tables and deck chairs will complete the day for Paddington’s very own festival-goers to relax and soak up the last of the summer sun.
