As we start the summer season, we are pleased to be organising two initiatives to benefit our community.
Cosmic Duck Race
Join Cosmic on Thursday 31st July 2025 at Merchant Square, Paddington Basin for their annual Rubber Duck Race!
From mid-June, you can purchase rubber ducks at our office at 1 Spring Street for £3.00 each, giving you the chance to win some fantastic prizes.
All funds raised will go towards the ongoing work Cosmic does supporting babies and children in intensive care, their families, and the dedicated team of NHS staff who care for them at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington and Queen Charlotte’s Hospital, Hammersmith.
Westminster Food Bank
This June, we’re also organising a food collection to support Westminster Food Bank.
Westminster Food Bank provides vital assistance to residents in the Borough of Westminster who are facing financial hardship. They need donations of non-perishable food, toiletries, and select household cleaning products. All items should be unopened, undamaged, and ideally have at least three months remaining before their use-by or best-before date. Drop off your items anytime from 09:00am – 4:00pm, Monday-Friday from mid-June.
High-demand items include:
- UHT Semi-Skimmed Milk
- Long Life Fruit Juice
- Puddings – Custard/Rice Pudding
- Tinned Meat (e.g. stews, curries, corned beef etc)
- Meat/Vegetable Soup
- Pasta Sauce
- Drinking Chocolate
- Tinned Vegetables
- Sugar
- Cooking Oil
- Powdered Milk (not baby Formula)
- Rice Pudding/Custard
- Washing Up Liquid
- Washing Powder (Small/Medium)
- Toilet Rolls
- Kitchen Towels
- Sanitary Towels (Feminine Hygiene Products)
