Eastbourne Terrace will be closed to vehicular traffic to allow Crossrail’s contractor to use a large mobile tower crane for the installation of major steelwork for the Crossrail Arch structure every night in July.
The road will also be closed for three weekends to allow the removal of settlement monitoring stations on Eastbourne Terrace. The contractor will also continue to install pre-cast concrete stairs and spine wall units and construct in-situ concrete slabs and walls.
